Fee Payment Policy and Class Cancellation Dates for Summer 2009:
IN ORDER TO REGISTER, ALL PAST DUE BALANCES MUST BE PAID .
1. BEFORE you attempt to register, go to your Student Center in your portal and make sure you have no balance due. (In the portal, go to the Money Matters page. Click on the Student Center.)
2. If you do have a balance, make an online payment.
3. Check your holds in the Student Center. If you have any, get them cleared, as holds may prevent you from registering. |
REGISTRATION FEES ARE DUE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION . (See *EXCEPTIONS below)
HOW MUCH TO PAY:
1. After you have registered in classes, go to your Student Center in your portal. (In the portal, go to the Money Matters page. Click on the Student Center.)
2. View your student account balance.
3. Your balance due should equal the amount displayed in the chart above for your college and number of units. If the balance is slightly more, you probably have miscellaneous course fee charges. (You are not charged for wait-listed classes until you are actually enrolled in them.)
HOW TO PAY:

Please allow 10 days for mailing time, and include your student ID number on the check.
Here is a Fee Payment coupon for your convenience.
(Before you mail a check, be sure to review the class cancellation dates below. Online payment is the better option especially if time is running short.) |
*EXCEPTIONS: Students who have financial aid for the current quarter, have an approved third-party contract on file, or are receiving fee waivers, will NOT be subject to financial registration holds or class cancellation. However, once the financial aid for the term is posted to the student account, a registration hold will be placed at that time if your fees are not fully paid. The hold will prevent adding or swapping classes until the balance is paid. |
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DO NOT PAY YOUR FEES:
1. Fees that are not paid by the 4th day following the date that you register in classes will become past due, and a registration hold will be placed on your account that will prevent you from adding or swapping classes until the balance is paid.
2. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID YOUR FEES BY 4:00 PM ON THE FOLLOWING CLASS CANCELLATION DATE, YOU MAY BE CANCELLED FROM ALL OF YOUR ENROLLED CLASSES:
-- Cancellation Date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009
3. See *EXCEPTIONS above.
|
IF YOU ARE CHARGED A LATE REGISTRATION FEE, THIS IS WHY:
For the Summer term, if you register for the first time on June 22nd or later, a $25 late fee is charged and must be included with your other registration and tuition payments. If you were not admitted until June 22nd or later or had other circumstances which forced you to register after the regular rotations, you can contact the Student Accounts Office at 756-1428 to discuss the late fee assessment.
IF YOU DECIDE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO ATTEND THIS TERM:
1. You must drop all your classses BEFORE THE TERM BEGINS to have your charges fully reversed.
2. If you wait and drop all your classes AFTER the term begins OR withdraw after add/drop, your fee charges will be prorated, meaning you will be charged for every day of enrollment, whether you attended classes or not. See the Fee Refund Policy for complete details.
