The Quality Initiatives and Training department focuses on Quality Improvement and Professional Development & Training for the Administration and Finance Division. The Manager of Quality Initiatives and Training, Karen Stubberfield serves as the campus Quality Improvement Facilitator, participating on system wide QI working committees that develop programs to enhance customer service and process improvement.

Karen Stubberfield, Manager for Quality Initiatives and Training, has been appointed the campus Quality Improvement Facilitator (QIF). In this role she has been given the responsibility of being the primary point of contact for all QI system-wide projects on the campus.

The Professional Series Program provides professional development opportunities on campus for the Administration and Finance supervisory and management staff. The Professional Series Program encourages both new and experienced supervisors to enhance their skills with a variety of courses designed to improve individual performance and increase overall productivity. The program is optional and all participants will be approved by AFD Senior staff.
