Contracts, Procurement, and Risk Management (CPRM) has contracts with the same 8 print partners previously utilized by Mustang Graphics. On campus printing services are still available at Pony Prints and UGS.

Payment for print services under $3,500 excluding UGS and Pony Prints should be done by using a Procurement Card (P-Card). For printing services over $3,500 contact CPRM at 756-2232.

ASAP Reprographics

ASAP Reprographics offers large and small format B/W and Full-Color printing and scanning on state-of-the-art equipment. Our wide format full-color printers use uv resistant, weather resistant inks. Our 50” Contex full-color scanner offers up to 800 dpi true-color archival quality precision scanning. Large format full-color prints can be made on Presentation Bond, Photo Glossy Coated paper, Photo Semi-Gloss Coated paper, Artist Hot-Press Watercolor Paper, Artist Canvas, Adhesive Vinyl, Vinyl Banner stock and 150gsm Transparency Media. Central Coast Printing

At Central Coast Printing our specialty is high quality, full color printing. Using our state of the art, digital, computer-to-plate technology, we provide you with quality printed material.

Our prepress department is equipped with the latest MAC and PC hardware and the latest and greatest versions of design and layout software. Our experienced staff will either work with your supplied art files, or create them for you. For creative services such as logo design, we can connect you to our network of professional graphic designers.

Our pressroom features a Direct Image 4-color waterless offset press with a maximum print size of 11” x 17” for quantities of 500 to 10,000. We have a 28” wide, 6-color offset press, with an aqueous coater for larger quantities. The pride of our pressroom is our 28” x 40” MAN-Roland 6-color offset press, also with an aqueous coater. We have small format 1- and 2-color presses for basic business printing needs such as letterhead, envelopes, business cards and multi-part forms.

To support these presses, our bindery has a 9-station collator, a 6-pocket gather/stitch/trim bookbinder, 3 folding machines, a wire-o binder, shrink wrap machine and many other finishing devices. We also offer in-house die-cutting.

And finally, Central Coast Printing has recently added mailing services to the list of products and services. Avoid the hassle of having to coordinate your printing and mailing separately. Central Coast Printing can do it all in one location.

FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Services

FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Services has been awarded a California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) contract (8400092183). The CMAS contract allows California local government and state agencies to purchase directly from us for their document solution needs. The CMAS contract also offers discount pricing for black & white and color copying and includes binding services that give documents a professional look.

When ordering from FedEx Kinko's, please identify yourself as faculty/staff and that you are part of the Cal Poly University discount program. This should guarantee you get the appropriate discount under contract #8400092183.

Poor Richard's Press

Since 1972, Poor Richard’s Press has been working hand in hand with Cal Poly, meeting all of the University’s printing needs. With almost 35 years under our belt and as a Certified Small Business with the State of California, we know how important quality and timeliness are to you.

University Graphic Systems

University Graphic Systems (UGS) is the student-run, FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council Certification), on-campus printing enterprise of Cal Poly. The managers of UGS are students in the Graphic Communication Department with backgrounds ranging from Print and Imaging Management, Electronic Publishing and Imaging, Design Reproduction Technology, and Graphics for Packaging concentrations.

UGS produces a wide range of products, including magazines, short run and long run posters, brochures, newspapers and more. We produce the Mustang Daily, CLA's publication of Moebius, Commencement booklets, and Corporations's Annual Report (formerly known as Foundation), among many other publications for the Cal Poly campus community. We have both the equipment and personnel to produce a wide variety of printed products from foil stamping to full-color presswork.

By partnering with University Graphic Systems, you are supporting the Cal Poly educational mission of Learn by Doing by providing us with the opportunity to further our knowledge of the printing and publishing industry.

Ventura Printing

Ventura Printing has been in the printing industry for many years, and Cal Poly's contact, Chuck Macchi has just completed his 10th year with the firm.

Ventura Prining may be called upon at any time for input on any type of offset printing project. We will assist you with information on how to accomplish any printing requirement with economies in mind. When information is needed regarding the type of paper to use, file preparation, which progams to use, and how to upload files to our FTP site, we can guide you.

The UPS Store

10% discount is given on everything except USPS postage, priority mail, parcel post, mailbox rentals, and money orders. This discount is available for all staff members for personal use as long as you have your staff ID.

Can we walk in to request work or copy ourselves? Yes, individuals are able to walk in and use the machines yourself or drop of your request and return later for pick up.
