The 2010-2011 Outstanding Staff Employee Award Winners!

This award has been given every year since 1972 and is presented by the President's Office.

Eligibility

Nominees must be full-time or part-time employees of the University, Corporation, or Associated Students, Inc. who are in at least their third year of employment with Cal Poly. Employees represented by bargaining unit 3 (faculty) and past recipients of the award are not eligible.

Nomination Criteria

In order to be considered for the Outstanding Staff Employee Award, an employee should:

1. Be truly dedicated and loyal;
2. Exhibit expertise in job performance;
3. Demonstrate a willingness to assist others enthusiastically;
4. Take initiative in making his/her department more efficient and productive;
5. Maintain an excellent relationship with co-workers, faculty members, and students; and
6. Make contributions to the University.

Nomination Procedures

Any student, staff employee, faculty member, department or division head may nominate an eligible employee for the Outstanding Staff Employee Award. Nominations are made by completing the nomination form.

The deadline to nominate for the 2011-12 awards is Monday, January 23, 2012.
